Blue on the lips! Every Permanent Makeup artist must have faced such a problem. For women, this is just a disaster! For a PM master is a difficult step-by-step work.
What to do? How can you fix it? Why did the blue color still return when the Permanent heals? How to correct and what do peaches and apricots have to do with it? I'll tell you everything now.

From a medical point of view, there are many reasons why lips can turn blue, but they all boil down to a lack of oxygen in the blood. Oxygen can be scarce due to its deficiency in the air, due to diseases or malfunctioning of the respiratory system, due to slow blood circulation, which loses oxygen.
Blood deprived of oxygen acquires a dark color, it is she who stains the lips blue instead of the usual pinkish or reddish. What exactly caused this change, the doctor will be able to explain to you in more detail.
From an aesthetic point of view, Permanent Makeup can be recommended. However, if the PM artist does not fully master the Coloristics, mistakes cannot be avoided and the cold unwanted shade will return in a couple of weeks.
How to work for a PM master with cold lips of blue or white and blue shades
During the first procedure, it is necessary to work out the lips with warm pigment of a peach or apricot shade. In the palette from our partner FACE, this pigment is called “Apricot”.
You can also use a homemade mix if there is no ready-made pigment available.
Use the nude shade with the highest titanium dioxide content. In our FACE palette, this is Sherbet.
Add the orange of your palette to the opaque pigment. Depending on the complexity and intensity of the blue, we lay the pigment tightly. NOT deep, but a dense, uniform stroke. We are waiting for the correction.
We evaluate the result on the correction. With proper work on the first procedure, the lips will acquire a more vibrant shade. The color will even out. At this stage, you can decide on the desired color of the final result, we work in a technique that is convenient and suitable for the client.
